Brynna and Nathan had their first piano recital. All the kids were so professional. They got up, introduced themselves and introduced the music they would be playing. Nathan had only been in piano for 3 weeks when the recital came, so I was proud of him for getting up there and doing it. He sat real good for all the other kids, but after one of the boys played the "Star Wars" theme, Nathan hummed that for the rest of the recital.
Brynna was extremely nervous. I could see the tension throughout her entire body. Her fingers moved like the wind and her talent shone through.
Suzanne, their teacher, has blessed our lives. Her patience, love of music, and enthusiasm has given my kids the best environment to learn in. We are grateful to her. I also would like to give kuddos to myself for sitting through piano practices. Seeing and hearing the kids play with such pride and confidence made all those times of wanting to slit my wrists worth the headache.

Congrats to Brynna and Nathan on the recital! It is so fun to see our kids grown and learn.
Great times! Suzanne rocks. Your kids are heaven-sent. Give yourselves a pat on the back for being amazing parents.
(sorry I deleted the last one...spelling!)
I love your new posts! Especially the father and sons outting. How Nathan was disappointed...ha ha ha. And sweet Brenna, and her comment about smiliing. How sweet is that, you are such a good mom.
Cute photos. You are lucky to have such a great piano teacher. We have slim pickins here. Great Job Brynna and Nathan!!
